Our Services

Every service is described accurately — no inflated promises, no vague language. Here is a clear account of what each discipline involves and what you can reasonably expect.

ECU Calibration & Software Optimisation

Engine management, throttle response, fuel map review

ECU calibration

What ECU Calibration Involves

The engine control unit manages fuel injection timing, ignition advance, boost pressure on turbocharged engines, idle speed, and throttle response. Calibration involves reviewing these parameters using professional diagnostic equipment and making careful, documented adjustments where the factory map has left meaningful room for refinement.

Factory maps are written to accommodate a wide range of conditions, fuel grades, and regulatory requirements. For a specific vehicle, driven in the UK on modern premium fuel with a well-maintained engine, there is often scope to adjust certain values in ways that improve responsiveness and day-to-day drivability without compromising reliability.

Our Process

Before any calibration work begins, Daniel will connect equipment to your vehicle for a full diagnostic check. We will not proceed if there are unresolved mechanical issues. The process involves a baseline data log, targeted adjustments, and further logging to confirm the result. You receive a written summary and, where applicable, a copy of before and after map data.

Suitable Vehicles

Available for most European, Japanese, and American market vehicles from approximately 2000 onwards. Compatibility varies by make, model, and ECU type — we confirm suitability during your initial consultation.

Important: ECU work does not include emissions system modification. All work is conducted within UK road legal parameters. Specific outcomes vary by vehicle and no particular power or fuel efficiency figures are guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions

This depends on your vehicle's warranty status. If under active warranty, we strongly recommend reviewing the warranty terms before proceeding. We're happy to discuss this during consultation.
Typically four to six hours, including diagnostic read, data logging, map adjustment, and verification. More complex projects may require a second session.
Yes. We retain a full backup of your original map before making any changes. It can be restored at any time.

Suspension & Handling Upgrades

Geometry alignment, coilovers, springs, dampers

What We Offer

Suspension work covers three main areas: geometry correction and alignment, component upgrades (springs, dampers, coilover conversions), and general suspension health assessment. A coilover installation without a subsequent alignment check leaves the job unfinished — we always include geometry work as part of any suspension fitment project.

Geometry & Alignment

Four-wheel alignment is carried out using calibrated laser equipment. We check and adjust camber, caster, toe, and thrust angle as required, issuing a printed alignment report showing measured values before and after adjustment.

Component Upgrades

Options range from uprated standard-position springs through to full coilover systems. We advise on spring rates suitable for road use — overly stiff setups are uncomfortable on UK roads and can reduce grip on irregular surfaces.

All suspension components are road-legal in the UK and sourced from manufacturers with appropriate testing documentation. Ride height changes are carried out with consideration for wheel arch clearance and MOT relevance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Provided clearances remain acceptable and tyres don't contact the arch, correctly fitted lowering springs should not cause an MOT failure. We'll discuss clearances before any installation.

Performance Exhaust Systems

Cat-back systems, stainless fabrication, sound refinement

Exhaust System Work

We supply and fit performance exhaust systems from a range of manufacturers, covering cat-back replacements, mid-sections, and specialist silencers. Our focus is on products that improve flow and refine the exhaust note while remaining appropriate for road use — systems that create excessive drone on the motorway are not something we recommend.

Qorvixa does not carry out catalyst removal or decat pipe fitment for road use. All exhaust work complies with UK road legislation and emissions requirements.

Brake System Enhancements

Uprated callipers, discs, pads, and brake fluid

Brake Upgrade Options

Brake upgrades range from higher-specification pads and discs through to full big brake kit installations. The right choice depends on the vehicle's weight, standard brake specification, wheel diameter, and how the car is typically used. We discuss these factors before recommending anything.

All brake work includes a fluid flush. Following installation, we carry out an initial bedding-in drive and provide a written guide on completing the bedding process over the first few hundred miles.

All brake components are road-legal in the UK. We do not fit components solely intended for track or competition use on road-going vehicles.

Aerodynamic Styling Packages

Splitters, diffusers, spoilers, side sills

Aerodynamic body kit

Aerodynamic Additions for Road Vehicles

Front splitters manage airflow under the vehicle and can reduce lift at higher motorway speeds. Rear diffusers work similarly at the trailing edge, and a properly sized spoiler adds downforce without excessive drag. We prefer model-specific components from manufacturers with genuine engineering data behind their claims.

All components must not obstruct forward visibility, reduce ground clearance to an unsafe level, or create sharp edges that could cause injury. We assess all components against these requirements before installation.

Interior Refinement & Detailing

Retrim, detail packages, instrument upgrades

Interior Work

Interior refinement covers professional cleaning through to material upgrades including steering wheel retrimming, seat bolster repair, and alcantara headlining. Each project is scoped individually with a written quote agreed before work begins.

We work across leather, alcantara, vinyl, and specialist fabrics. Materials are matched to the vehicle's original specification — substituting a cheaper synthetic on a premium interior will always look out of place, regardless of how well the work is executed.

Interior modifications affecting safety-related components — airbag modules, seat belt fittings, structural seating — are only carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidance where it is safe to do so.
